In support of our continued and rapid UK growth, we are currently seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to partner with our sales team on some the most cutting-edge security and networking technologies.

In this role you will be a trusted advisor, using your industry knowledge to provide best-practice advice and solutions that will help our customers secure their digital assets.

Job requirements

What are we looking for from you?

We hire for attitude and approach over specific vendor skills but would ideally like to see demonstrable skills in solutioning for one or more of the following vendors - Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, Pulse Secure, CrowdStrike, Cybereason, Juniper, Arista, Meraki or ADVA.

Any additional experience you have across one or more of DDOS, WAF, IDAM, EDR, MDM, SIEM, SOAR or Vulnerability Management would be a bonus.

We do expect our people to have an excellent knowledge of current cybersecurity or networking trends, but we will also invest in continual training to ensure you evolve and are abreast of what is happening across the industry.

As a pre-sales consultant, every day is different, but the types of activities you can expect to get involved in include:

  • Own and deliver the technical strategy for our largest and most strategic customers
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers on relevant technologies and solutions
  • Be involved in Proof of Concepts
  • Provide technical responses to customer RF(x) and tender documents
  • Own the Bill of Materials that sales can quote against
  • Keep abreast of the latest technology innovations that may be relevant to our customers
  • Provide content and get involved in podcasts, blogs and writing articles
