Managed Services Senior Network & Security Engineer

You will work with a top skilled team of engineers. They have the highest achievable certifications in the best of breed vendors and technologies that Infradata uses in her solutions. We serve the market leaders in their businesses in the telecom, service provider and enterprise segment, which makes working for Infradata utmost challenging and a steep learning curve is guaranteed

You understand our clients’ business needs and translate them into technical network solutions. For the implementation of these solutions, you will guide customer teams with project activities such as migrations, upgrades and/or greenfield installations. You keep the customer architects aligned and updated. You see technical innovation as a part of your job, and you like to be challenged by the smartest people alike.

Job requirements

To be successful, our future colleague has the following knowledge and experience:

  • A proven track record with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Network & Security Engineer role in an IT services environment (preferably within an Internet Service or Cloud Networking Provider)
  • Excellent understanding of IP routing protocols, switching and Network Security Technologies such as Firewalls and Remote Access technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet and Checkpoint (preferably certified on a professional level)
  • Onboarding new customers and configuring network monitoring tools
  • Documentation and reporting skills including documenting change
  • You are a team player, eager to learn and works well under pressure
  • You have the ability to work on your own initiative, adapt quickly and act decisively
  • You have proven experience in customer communication
  • You understand the importance of exceptional customer service
  • You are fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
