HR Generalist

Job description

Due to continual growth, we are looking for a HR Generalist to join our UK team to work closely with the Leadership team and wider business to drive and enhance people practices, providing ad hoc support wherever it is needed and contributing to group initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to progress their career to the next stage, is looking for more responsibility and autonomy to help run the UK HR department and further their knowledge in all HR areas. 

As a HR Generalist, every day is different, but the types of activities you can expect to get involved in include:

  • Champion and deliver our ‘People First’ HR strategy in line with our company’s core values: #HighEnergy, #SmartPeople, and #OneTeam
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and continue to reflect up-to-date employment law and best practice
  • Provide seamless administration of the recruitment process – including management of the ATS (Recruitee); organisation of interviews; employment vetting; creation of a talent pool using job boards, LinkedIn, and partnerships with external agencies
  • Assist with the administration of monthly payroll processes and annual P11D forms
  • Manage all employment benefit schemes and associated renewal negotiations

Job requirements

What are we looking for from you?

We hire for attitude and approach, in line with our core values of #HighEnergy, #SmartPeople, and #OneTeam, but would ideally like to see demonstrable background in a HR function with administrative experience, across the key HR functions (recruitment and selection, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, policy implementation, etc). You must also have comprehensive knowledge of UK Employment Law and Employee Relations, and have a high level of empathy, integrity, and confidentiality in all that you do. 

We do expect you to have a University degree in Business Administration, HR or related subject. If you have studied, or are currently studying towards a CIPD qualification, that would be a bonus.
